Some New Music for Violin and Guitar
I have just written four pieces for violin and guitar and my violinist and I are furiously rehearsing them for a recording session next week. After that, I hope to put them all up here for your enjoyment and comments. I'll have some detailed comments later, but for now, I will just say that the inspiration came from traditional Irish reels, tango, and Debussy.
I am also working on a post on the famous Chaconne by Bach that I hope to get up later today.
In the meantime, enjoy this piece for violin and guitar by Astor Piazzolla:
Violin and guitar are, I think, a great combination.
