    Ah this was one of the first classical pieces I got into. An ideal piece for a former extreme metal fan.

    All the Bartok quartets are good but Three, Four and Five are incredible. Nothing rocks harder than those amazing dive-bomb glissandi in Bartok's Third String Quartet. :)

    The first Bartók I owned on vinyl was the Juilliard Quartet recording of the 3rd and 4th quartets and the Music for Strings Percussion and Celesta. Really great music!
