I have a lot of work to do connected with an upcoming recording project, so you won't get a post from me today. But tomorrow's miscellanea will be chock full of good stuff. It starts with a photo of Jennifer Lopez in a particularly alluring dress and ends with a performance of Messiaen's Turangalîla-Symphonie. Only at the Music Salon! I was reminded Saturday that there is a premiere of four minutes of Messiaen at the Proms upcoming, where the Turangalila-Symphonie is also being performed by the Vienna Philharmonic.

You're busy and it sounds like the FM is done; I lightly skimmed this blog post [http://www.overgrownpath.com/2015/07/sound-yoga-ancient-wisdom-or-new-age.html] chiefly to count the number of times John Luther Adams was cited approvingly. :-)

Oh, I was wrong, about the Vienna Philharmonic performing the Messiaen Turangalila-- it's the BBC Philharmonic, tsk; VPO is performing Elgar's Dream of Gerontius.
