What about that image?
Cool, huh? Most musical scores are no prettier than the classified section of the newspaper, but this has to be the loveliest musical score ever written. Dating from the second half of the 14th century, it is an example of ars subtilior--really subtle music. You have to love a love song notated in the shape of a heart.
